Hotel Anno 1617 in Glueckstadt

Ordered a meal outside of the house today and certainly not for the last time. It was really great.

Was at Hotel Anno during the lookdown and was even able to relax and have a delicious dinner in the restaurant (possible as a hotel guest). The room was very nice, clean and big enough. The breakfast, also in the restaurant, is really recommendable.

Great restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The interior skilfully mixes tradition with modernity. This is exactly how the menu can be described. I would love to come back. Rooms decorated according to themes. Here, however, you can hear some noise from the rest of the house. However, this is due to the age of the historic building.

We went there for lunch at noon. Varied menu, with fish and regional dishes. Very friendly attentive service. Corona hygiene concept consistent.

To our o.g. I have to tell you the following about my stay. We arrived on Sunday, September 6th, 2020 and were asked by your employees to settle the bill immediately, as nobody could do this later. Since there was a friendly question, we fulfilled this wish. On Monday morning (and also the following days) we were awakened very roughly at 6:00 am due to considerable construction noise. Neither when we booked nor when we arrived there was no mention of the construction work! I think this is a real shame for a house with your demands, especially because we paid a price of € 1014.30 for our stay. I would have liked to discuss this with you personally, unfortunately, according to your employee (interview on September 12th, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.) you could not be spoken to. In addition, I have to say that there was cream cheese on the buffet on Sunday, which had already expired on August 31, 2020 (best before)! We ate the cream cheese, as we generally don't look at every packaged portion. We also discreetly communicated this, who immediately took the cheese from the buffet.

Great food, nice atmosphere and nice staff. Unfortunately it has become much too expensive ...

The dinner was okay. If not cheap, the breakfast was good. The room, however, was for a price of approx. 100 € just bad and on the verge of being unreasonable. Much too small, neglected, tinkered and uncomfortable. The sink is so small that you can hardly brush your teeth because you bump your head against the shelf. The glass door in front of the bathroom is simply hung over the old door frame and does not close completely. The door to the room can only be opened with force and the photo wallpaper unrolls on the front wall. This photo wallpaper is just kitschy with imitations of portholes, starfish and fishing nets and makes the small room even tighter. The mattress is like a swing on a ship, restful sleep is out of the question under these conditions. The only positive thing about this quarter is the location on the historic Glückstädter Markt, sorry.

We were there last night with 6 people. The ambience is very cozy and we had a great service employee at our table. He served our table superbly and looked after us very well. Our starters came quickly, we had to wait a little longer for the main course. But that didn't detract from the mood and the trappings excused the long waiting time. The food was delicious. I had the porcini tortelloni, they were perfect. Sometimes presented in a completely different way and a really great taste experience. The current hygiene concept has also been implemented very well. We will be back definitely.

Hello Anno 1617. I was your guest 2 weeks ago and did not have the impression, as you described below, that all guests are treated equally. An example: we wanted to have something to drink in the evening at around 9.45pm, a group of gentlemen was already there at the next table ... We were greeted with the words that there was only one drink anyway, at the next table they were told that there was still one there is no last order, orders continued to be made here. A request from a group of 12 people for a drink was simply refused because they did not want to put the tables together. We had 2Rum for 20Euro ... Our request why the next table got something was answered with "You can have another beer" ... Sorry but the waitress was a letdown! When asked about this, you said the owner would also have to pay attention to the personnel costs. At least she recognized that. Regarding room 2, it remains to be said that more emphasis was placed on the appearance than on the functionality. The shower and the fittings in particular needed an update. The valve is simply defective. Water is cold or scalding hot. The extra bed was only set up on request. The room was only partially clean, the remote control of the TV was an impertinence! I am not going into any further detail here. The air conditioning in the bakery opposite was loud, the shutters cheap and impractical. The dining room is dark and too plush for me personally. But that's a matter of taste. All in all a mediocre stay at a steep price. I would have liked to write positive that at least the lady at the breakfast buffet would have deserved at least three stars. Sorry that the criticism is so bad ...

We were in Anno today and loved the really excellent food, each of our dishes was well presented, well seasoned and simply delicious! The service was also great, for that alone I would come back to Glückstadt, please keep it up!

Good food, friendly service! We had a pleasant evening on the terrace, the food was delicious and plentiful - everything as it should be. Gladly again!

Very good food and very friendly service. Good location! We would come back for food anytime but the boss was not very friendly. Have the impression that the employees are very helpful but are not allowed to make much decisions. Too bad that would be important in today's management.

Nice hotel. Absolutely centrally located. Right on the big square in Glückstadt. There is an inner courtyard where bicycles can be parked theft-proof overnight. The breakfast buffet is very good.

Hotel right on the market square. Rooms are partly in the neighboring building in the side street. Furnishing older, especially the bathroom could do with a renovation. Breakfast buffet rich and delicious. There was something for everyone.

Very quaint. Huge breakfast room. Somewhat bizarely there's no evening meal and the bar shuts at 19:00.

Top Restaurant. Super Labskaus

Located in good area near restaurants. The breakfast is fine although the rooms are lacking and outdated. I was in a room on the ground floor with a lot of noise, you hear everyone going up and down and they can also hear you, the window is at street level. Very small room

Nice room in tje annex - new and well equipped. A pitty that the hotel doesn't offers gonubg anymore. Excellent location.
